In the hopes of opening more lines of communication with our ever increasing tech savy students and parents I have decided to create a class website which I hope will accomplish the following:
In my Career Development 40S we are using REMIND101 which is an automated text message service that I can use to communicate important class information. For example, homework, test reminders, class changes, etc. It is your choice if you want to utilize this service but it can be very helpful in making sure that you don't forget important dates.
By using REMIND101, I will not be able to see your personal cell phone number as this is an automated service that connects through a unique code and is not connected through a specific cell phone. This service cannot receive messages, if you need to get a hold of me you must e-mail me at [email protected]
For instructions on how to subscribe to Mrs. Mike's REMIND101 messages please click on the PARENT tab at the top or e-mail at [email protected]
Each student that I teach will receive in class instructions and a parent letter home on how to subscribe. Below you will find a Youtube video that I found that will explain along with the notes that I have sent home. Remember you will follow my instruction sheet not his example, the Youtube video is for example purposes only.
